Rosemary Taylor
Designer | Maker | Manager | Problem Solver
A little bit about my background
Wearing many hats has always been my preference. Seeing a problem from many angles makes for a better solution. Along the way, we have some fun with it because, really, life's too short not to enjoy your work!
Originally educated and working as an architect, I expanded into the film industry, designing sets and on-camera artwork. A stretch of corporate life meant working as an Art Director and Producer of in-house photo shoots and trade show booths for CES and MacWorld.
Currently, I work with college students and adults to bring their projects to life in a Maker Space setting. That could mean helping them use the wood shop, a sewing machine, or a 3D printer. It's satisfying to help someone master the skills they need to bring their ideas to reality.
In addition to design, I'm no stranger to managing budgets, leading team projects, and mentoring younger artists. While proficient in Creative Suite software, I also have a working knowledge of HTML and CSS in Mac or PC environments. I'm a maker and problem solver, and enjoy improving environments through design/build projects.
